K'Gari Clean Up

I have all registered attendees goodie bags ready for collection. These include your vehicle registration and attendee registration forms that need to be checked for accuracy and completed as soon as possible. 

If your rego is wrong on the QPWS database you may receive a fine.

We have been scheduled for clean up the SATURDAY 8am sharp until 11am. I require 2 utes to be able to collect the nags of rubbish as it is collected and then take to the weigh station as well as 2 volunteers to weigh and dump our rubbish in the skip bins. Please let me know if you have a ute and can do this task. Anyone with health issues are good candidates for this task as they will spend most of their time in the vehicles driving up and down our clean up area and ferrying drivers back to their cars. We will split into 2 teams, starting at each end and meeting in the middle.

This will impact our ability to plan any long expolartion trips on either Saturday or Sunday. 

There will be at least 2 convoys heading to the Inskip barge point. One staying overnight in Rainbow Thursday and the second leaving from Brisbane at 3am Friday morning. 

Each goodie bag contains at least one pair of gloves. Remember to bring hat, water bottle, sunscreen, covered shoes and lomg pants/long sleeved short for the actual clean up. The information booklets in the goody bags are a great read and contain further important information about the weekend.
